So I’m sitting in this big, empty castle and thinking about how fleeting everything is. The feeling will pass. Everything does. Everything ends. This moment, this life, this country (whichever you may be in), this world — it will end. Many believe that some things last, many will disagree. But on the small scale, at least, we can all agree that things must eventually come to an end. Friendships fizzle, relationships disintegrate. Even the traditional marriage has a “’till death do us part” clause. Unless you’re Mormon — then you’re stuck. Most importantly, this photo prompt challenge will end, so you’d better hop to it! Photo prompt found here, from the picture originally entitled “People Die Alone.” Take a moment and let the picture speak to you with its thousand words. What does it say? As always, you may take this in any direction you wish: poem, prose, more pictures — just be creative. And enjoy. And write. I am a fiction writer and I always feel weird writing fiction for your prompts when everyone else isn’t.
@LilMisha - oh, goodness, don’t feel weird. this is about your own writing, after all. that’s why i do the prompts/challenges. i happen to be a fiction writer myself.
