    THE SCARIEST THING


    Tell us the scariest thing that has ever happened to you.  It doesn’t have to be about anything you don’t want it to be.  Just an experience that gave you a scare.  Anything from your kid getting hurt to having an odd experience that you couldn’t understand or get out of your mind.  It’s October and time for telling about scary experiences!

  • Challenge 2008-20

    MiLords & MiLadies,


    I think the previous subject is DONE.  So, time for a new one!  I’m calling this one:


    NO IF’S


    As your Kween, I have just banished all if’s in this realm!  For this challenge you may not have any excuses such as “if I were younger, older, single, married, smarter, prettier, more handsome, stronger…etc.”  Now that there are absolutely no if’s here, what are you going to do?


    We’ll leave this challenge open for a week or two, depending on the response!  Start NOW!


    ANNOUNCEMENT:


    For the past 4 years I have been hosting a HALLOWEEN EXTRAVAGANZA over on KoffeeKweens_Korner.  Go on over and take a look and let me know if this is something that you would be willing to participate in.  Your stories are sent to me and I put them together with an image.  I then post them on the site.  I would need to start this endevor almost immediately so please let me know if it will be worth my time!  Last year I had very few stories and I’d love to get at least 10 this year!

    I apologize for the delay (took me a bit to come up with a worthy subject…I hope it is worthy!)  Firstly, thank you all for your love and support!  It is much appreciated and your kind words have boosted me up.  A phenomenom that I have found to be almost the norm here on Xanga. 


    Secondly, please note that I am celebrating my 3rd year on September 8 for heading up this blog ring!  I’m rather surprised it has lasted this long!  I never expected it to become such a popular blog ring!  Thank’s to all of you for your participation and interest!


    Typically I am NOT a political person.   However, because the Presidential election is set to happen here in the USA in November, I thought it would be interesting to pose this question:


    What do you want in your country’s leader?


    You don’t need to tell us who you’re voting for.  In fact, this can be for ANY country….be it a Priminister, Head of State, President, or Royalty….I am just interested in reading what you really would like to see in your country’s leader.  Have you been disappointed in your leadership?  Are you fed up?  Describe YOUR ideal leader!

     I have always strived to be a benevolent and fair Kween.  


    The entire reason I wanted to leave was because I ended up hurting someone by giving unsolicited advice. That is something I never wanted to do. And now, because of myself again, I have hurt feelings and caused a rift within this little community called Kween of the Queens.


    It seems I cannot get away from hurting people’s feelings and causing pain every where I go.


    The end product is that I will remain as moderator of this blog ring.


    I wish to sincerely apologize for this disruption.  Should any further decisions be made regarding the leadership here, I shall first take my time in choosing a candidate, then after due diligence, I will initiate a vote from all of you as to who you wish to lead the blog ring.  Until that time, I hope that you will all remain with our little “community within a larger community”.  Should you make the decision to leave, I will understand and no questions will be asked, no blame (but to myself) will be assigned.


    I thank you all for your patience and understanding and promise that you will not be put through anything like this again.


    Please join me for the new challenge that hopefully will be issued on the 1st of September.
